Exhibits
Our art exhibitions are collaborative efforts between fine art educators, artists, writers, and students. Each quarterly exhibition features artwork made by KIPP Chicago students. The work is completed during the school twenty-four hour period, more often than not in arts classrooms, but as well in afterwards schoolhouse clubs.
The Chicago Arts District hosts second Fridays Gallery Dark, the monthly opening receptions at the galleries and artist studios centered around South Halsted Street, beginning at 1711 and catastrophe at 2007 Due south Halsted Street in Chicago. Our Children'southward Museum of Art and Social Justice (CMASJ) is a critical slice of the arts programming at KIPP Chicago. xxx page Positive Affidavit Coloring Volume
This coloring book is a compilation of positive affirmations collected from our teachers. Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th from across the region chose an affirmation to illustrate and submitted their designs.
Positive affirmations tin exist used to reprogram our thought patterns and change the way nosotros recollect and experience near things. They are the messages we choose to tell ourselves over and over until nosotros internalize and believe them. We hope that this coloring book tin can exist utilized to do mindfulness and meditation while reflecting on the affirmations on each folio.

How to volume a group tour
A one hour bout includes a conversation around each art exhibit, short video, and an activist button making activity. We are a pocket-size, one room museum inside the KIPP Chicago regional role so we can just accommodate groups of 25 people or fewer. Students in grades G-12 welcome!
